TANIT's deodorant is a 60 g stick in a cardboard tube. The maker states it has no aluminum salts, parabens or artificial fragrance, no baking soda and no alcohol, and is plastic-free, vegan, preservative-free and made in Canada. Ingredients for the scented versions include coconut oil, magnesium hydroxide, tapioca powder, mango butter, sunflower seed wax, zinc ricinoleate and lactobacillus ferment.
The tube is described as 100% biodegradable and compostable cardboard. That is the maker's statement, not a third-party certification. Versions differ: some use natural fragrance or essential oils, so check the ingredient list of the one you choose.
It is sold in several scents at the same price, plus an unscented version with charcoal that we have not assessed for fragrance.
