This is the unscented version of Ethique's solid deodorant. The maker's ingredient list is caprylic/capric triglyceride, tapioca starch, brassica alcohol, magnesium hydroxide, sweet almond oil, bamboo stem extract, hydrated silica, zinc oxide, candelilla wax and jojoba esters. No fragrance is listed, and the page states zero added fragrance or essential oils.
The maker describes its packaging as home-compostable and plastic-free, and admits in the same page that it is less sturdy than a plastic dispenser: the lid needs care to avoid damaging the inner lip. The page also says plainly that this is not an antiperspirant and that skin can take a couple of weeks to adjust after leaving aluminium.
Almond oil is among the ingredients, which matters for anyone with a nut allergy.
